Dark Forces are Marshalling
Friends,
Despite my best efforts to make ammends and reparations over all these years, it appears that dark forces are marshalling around me - yet again. The same band of ne'r do wells that dogged me in the late 40's is back again, and this time they have chosen to attack me in direct and personal ways that simply were not available in that era.
My work with the CricketCast people has received widespread acclaim, and I expect to recieve a nomination at this years FVOE awards.
Nonetheless, these anonymous (at least to the world, but not to me) parties have gone to a new lows, saying that my "voice over is just awful, so much so, I wouldn't recommend anyone watch. If he had just done it in a normal voice instead of trying to be so stupidly over dramatic, it would have been an excellent piece of work. Instead, it comes across as childish, unprofessional, and rather stupid. Which is too bad. I'd rather just watch the dog and not be distracted by the idiot voice."
And another:
"...the guy doing the background voice takes away from the film..........whew, please get rid of it. He does not have a good voice for recording. Way to campy. I will not be tuning in anymore because of it, and will not advise anyone else to check it out. Sorry."
